Presthaven Holiday Resort Direct Access To Beach

Just after spending a week as a family of 6 Kids ages 7,6,4,3 so much to do a such a lovely place. Beach board walks r amazing. It’s very cleverly set out you shop in the love lounge an eating areas in around the amusements. Kids had us tortured every minute. Are gold cabin had all we needed I cooked some evening ordered in a the fish a chips were lovely from the chip shop. Pool was great plenty life guards on a water was nice an warm. Only down fall was toilets could be checked more regular. Strong smell of urine an no toilet roll at times. With people booking slots for swimming maybe an improvement could be made. Would definitely recommend here for a family holiday we all had a blast

I think you either enjoy Haven-style holidays or you don’t. I appreciate that different folks enjoy different things but personally it isn’t to my liking. We paid for a better caravan which turned out to be nice. The beach nearby is great. I think most folks are in a party mood at site so it was quite loud until quite late. People smoking weed on site meant that we regularly had to close our windows as the smell was awful. This happened at the beach too. The park could do with a tidy as there is litter everywhere. Our caravan had a lot of cigarette butts thrown outside of it and a few wood screws which could have been dangerous for the kids. Generally the site was ok but just a bit tired in places. If you like this kind of holiday it’ll be fine I’m sure, but for some of us it was a bit rough in places and not very relaxing. I would say it delivers poor value for money.

Best part and only reason not 1 start is there are EV chargers (not rapid). Sadly they abuse Donkeys for people to have donkey rides. The caravan was not clean, the kids found dirty underwear from the previous guests. The bathroom was dusty, so clearly it hadn't been wiped down between guests. All the windows doors and many areas of floor space cracked which meant kids did not sleep well. The local beach and the holiday park was covered with litter. We did see some staff doing a litter pick around the caravans but they were just chatting to eachother and walking past rubbish. I personally feel the local council should fine the park for litter on the beach. It kills wildlife and pollutes the area .The pool changing rooms and toilets were awful, we had paid extra for the activities package but only could book swimming once as fully booked. Suppose we didn't miss much but, a waste of money nonetheless. We have used Haven a few times but won't be back to Presthaven. North Wales is nice, just not this caravan park.
