Exceptional Welcome by Rhea at Prestigious Harbour Resort – A True Professional From the moment we arrived at the Prestigious Harbour Resort in Salmon Arm, we were warmly welcomed by Rhea, whose professionalism and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. Rhea greeted us with a genuine smile and handled our check-in process with efficiency, care, and a personal touch that made us feel instantly at home. Her attention to detail, knowledge about the resort, and willingness to assist with any questions made a lasting impression. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the thoughtful room upgrade Rhea arranged for our anniversary. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the view was nothing short of incredible — the perfect setting for a special celebration. It meant so much to us, and we are so grateful for the extra effort she made to make our stay memorable. Rhea deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service. Her dedication, warmth, and professionalism reflect the highest standards of the resort. We felt truly valued and taken care of from the moment we walked in. Wow. I was not expecting how much me and my family would love this resort! And it truly is a resort more than a hotel — the amenities were exceptional, including a huge state of the art gym, and indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub, really great pub, cafe, & restaurant. The rooms are huge & we had a kitchen & balcony, which we enjoyed. It sits on a bird sanctuary wetland & right next to a gorgeous park with long boardwalk & a sweet little ice cream shop at the end (with a lovely lady who made my daughter a homemade sorbet). The staff at the front desk were very nice & accommodating. Our servers at all of the restaurants went above & beyond. We all sat outside on the loungers on the grass relaxing, reading & watching the sunset. We decided that every time we travel from Calgary to anywhere west we will be making a special stop here again to see if we can recreate the magic of this stay. (I should say that the only issue we had was a very rude woman working at the spa (with glasses & lip ring), who was quite rude & dismissive both times we went to ask if there was any availability, but it didn’t take away from our stay here at all as everyone else was so great.)

Absolutely a mixed review. If you go to this "resort" hotel, be sure to get a lake-view room. (5 stars if you do. 2-3 stars if you don't). The rooms are adequate - comfortable and clean, but could really use some TLC for things like the caulking around the tubs and the amenities in the room. Our room had a fridge that didn't work at all, and if we'd only been there one night, I'm sure the next people would have said the same thing. Check-in was a bit of a gong show. The main entrance has the check in desk right in the path of the doors where people have to haul their luggage in, creating a traffic jam. Check-in was unnecessarily slow, and not super friendly (2 stars actually). The slowest elevators in the world. (1 star). The view is good if you aren't situated on top of the pool roof. The breakfast restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 AM. It has been renovated and is a nice bright place with friendly service. Angelie (spelling?) was awesomely friendly. The food was tasty but ours was very cold. (3 stars but could have been 4). The event was attended was nice, with a good event room. Food was fresh and hot. (5 stars). Overall, the experience was fine, but this is not a 5-star hotel.
