I had a fantastic dining experience at The Speakeasy thanks to Chef Ban. He was incredibly friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. The steak was simply astounding—cooked to absolute perfection, just how I like it. The pepper sauce that accompanied it was exquisite, complementing the flavors beautifully. The scallops were fresh and flavorful, and the lemongrass chicken really stood out as a delicious dish. Overall, Chef Ban’s skill and hospitality made the meal unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Beachfront Hotel with Spacious Rooms – Great for Families Located right on Ma Khee Beach, this hotel offers spacious rooms ideal for families. The family room layout includes one king bed with a large washroom with walk-in shower, separate bath tub and two twin beds with a smaller attached bathroom with walk-in shower. Rooms also come with balconies. However, the mattress is uncomfortable, and it’s best to avoid lower-floor and backside rooms as the windows are not soundproof, and you can hear outside noise easily. Breakfast is below average, but the pool is a good size, and the poolside snacks are excellent. There’s also a nice sauna room and a comfortable outdoor seating area facing the beach and main road. A tuck shop is available on the ground floor for quick buys. One of the highlights is that all washrooms have a Muslim shower, which is convenient. Avoid desserts from the café near the reception – the quality is poor. The hotel is well-located by the sea and close to many restaurants, making it a good choice for beach lovers despite a few drawbacks. Also, the housekeeping staff is always helpful and readily available.

The hotel is well located, the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The staff is kind and attentive. Unfortunately, our stay was seriously impacted by loud noise every evening. From 7:00 PM until well past 10PM, very loud music was playing from the hotel’s rooftop, and on top of that, there were karaoke screams coming from outside — possibly from tour buses or near the highway. It wasn’t singing, it was actual shouting. We reported the issue twice to the reception, and while they were polite and offered a late check-out, they couldn’t do anything to stop the noise. The soundproofing is clearly not sufficient. It’s a real shame, because the hotel has great potential — but as it is now, it’s hard to get proper rest.
