They serve good meals here. Many choices, very fresh and yummy. Gluten free and dairy free are available. T - bond steak is my favourite if you like beef. Side dish were potato bake and seasonal vegetables.
The Prince of Wales Hotel in Gulgong Our group of 13 was warmly welcomed at the Prince of Wales Hotel, where the staff effortlessly arranged five tables to accommodate us. Service was impressively swift, with our meals arriving within 15 minutes. The food was both generous in portion and excellent in quality. The amenities were spotless, and the staff’s friendliness added to the overall positive experience. A fantastic spot for great food and warm hospitality!
I reckon if your a country pub with a bistro you’re crazy if you don’t serve local food where possible. The Prince of wales serves local Angus steak which were cooked to perfection ( I had the 300 g rump medium rare) I thought I’d wash it down with local wine. Nope the nearest red was from Orange. The barman took a shot at me immediately for asking for something local which took the wind out my sails a bit because I “want” to support local. H just thought I was being a wanker I suppose. He was happy to serve me a New owned by a Japanese company 20 minutes before. Yep, yep, yep
