Such a beautiful place! The rooms all have balconies. They are also equipped with a mini stove, pots, pans, coffee maker, dishes and a fridge. They also have a dresser and tables. The staff and owners are super nice and accommodating. The cafe is also great! They have loungers right at the beach and by the pool. Quiet with lots of birds in the morning. Very little traffic on the road (almost none). Definitely recommended coming here.

We moved to Tia’s place during the last 2 days of our stay during our 6 days of stay in Samos. We were very excited to move to a beachfront location however we were disappointed because air conditioning in our room was broken during a heat wave, and the hotel staff did little to resolve the issue. They did not offer to change our room. We were informed that a technician had been called to fix the AC, but I suspect this was not true. Tia mentioned that a technician came and told us to "keep our fingers crossed" that the AC would be repaired. To be honest, "keeping fingers crossed" is the last thing a sleep-deprived guest wants to hear after spending a night awake due to the heat. Additionally, we couldn't open the balcony doors because we were told that cats might come in. Ironically, when we left the room door open to cool down, a cat did walk inside. In return of struggling to sleep in an oven for 2 nights, we were offered a 20 euro discount. I’m sorry Tia but you could have done better. This was an unfortunate experience because the hotel was clean, and the staff seemed nice; however, it lacked professionalism. Moreover, the electrical socket in the room was partially out of the wall, which posed a danger, especially for our young child. The ceiling fan also felt unstable and seemed like it could fall at any moment, so we couldn’t use it. There were hornets near the beach showers, which made it risky to shower after swimming. Aside from these issues, Balos is a nice location with an average beach, but it is not particularly impressive. Highlight of our stay here was night of local music at a nearby mini market.
