I have nothing but good things to say about Hotel Principe Avila. The location is excellent - not too far from town centre and the airport. In fact, we took the metro directly from the airport to get there. The rooms are tastefully designed. They are modern, comfortable and functional. Even the HVAC works perfectly. The breakfast is so good we look forward to it every morning. The staff speaks fluent English. They are attentive and friendly. There is even underground parking if you have a rental car. We didn't need it because there is free street parking near the hotel. When we return to Lisbon for vacation we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a night and I loved everything about my room. Things I liked: The bed and pillows were very comfortable - the bathroom was great - their were USB charging slots next to the bed - there was a big TV - the breakfast was super - very happy that I stayed here - they will be my top consideration if I were to revisit Lisbon. Things I didn't like: The window in the room wasn't big enough for a view - the room didn't have a kettle or a coffee machine - there was a note in the room saying that reception could give you a kettle (if available) and the same for espresso machine - but it would depend on availability and there might be charges.

Very nice and convenient place to explore Lisbon. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Bathrooms are new, nice and clean with a great shower. A metro station (red and blue line) is just across the street as well as a bike rental station. A big shopping center a few steps away and also some museums in walking distance. Several food options are close by. Breakfast is okay... there is everything you need...if you come at the end of breakfast time, they don't necessarily fill up all the items again... Especially fruit and pastries were gone by then. Otherwise, the service is quick, attentive and makes up the table very quickly, so we never had trouble finding a table. All in all definitely a recommendation and I would book there again when returning to Lisbon.
