Beautiful property. Pleasant staff. Spacious, comfy and convenient suites. Chairs and umbrellas available on the beach across from the property (included in resort fee). You can order food and drinks while on the beach. The stay here was awesome! A great experience and memories. ($200/night hold for incidentals. A little much, but worth the temporary inconvenience.)
We love this hotel. We've stayed here twice now and both times have been equally inspiring, romantic and above all, relaxing. I mean that's why you're coming to a hotel right? The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, always with a smile. It all starts with the bellmen who greet you at the entrance and it continues through to the front desk. This is a Conrad, so the level of attention and accommodations are unmatched. Being a Diamond Member, we got upgraded to a junior suite with partial ocean view, but we actually downgraded to a 2 queen ocean front view. If I think of a beachfront hotel, I want to see the beachfront, not part of it and a building. With the oceanfront rooms, you sacrifice a small living room area, but get 180° panoramic views of the beach, A1A and the ocean. The best view to wake up to in the morning and the last view before bed. Hardly a downgrade in my opinion. Both Vitolo and Takato restaurants are well staffed and continue the high mark standards of a Conrad, without an inflated price. Great food and both places have excellent Happy Hour menus available. The beachfront is only for Conrad guests and with your resort fee (waived if a Diamond Member) you get two chairs, umbrella and waters. I suggest getting there before 10:30-11am because they fill up fast. Staff gets there at 9am, btw. They have drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, available, plus a scaled back menu, all delivered to you. I will warn you, food and drink on the beach are not cheap, so be prepared for that. But what an experience having frozen drinks and quality food delivered to your sun chairs while relaxing and listening to the waves break. This is now our spot and we are already planning to come back.
Definitely do not recommended staying here. The rooms are dated. Bathrooms are dated. Service is God awful. Pool was very small. Customer service was nonexistent. The entire hotel smells musty and old. I was absolutely appalled with the entire experience. Stay elsewhere!
