Simple but elegant taste sets the tone for a relaxing time away . Views to die for , all our needs met , comfy beds and pillows . Cabins are cute and provide for all your needs and the main house provided a great area for 10 of us to gather for meals The prom isn’t too far and the walks are numerous Thanks Wendy and Jess !! Awesome weekend was had by all 👌

We arrived on Sunday and loved the cottage and the outlook, it was perfect for us to relax and enjoy Wilson’s Promontory. Despite our initial excitement we were disappointed with a few things which we’d like to share, especially given the current climate. Upon entering the bathroom it was great to see that the floor was freshly washed and there were extra towels however the hand soap provided was empty. We would have thought that during this time a disinfecting soap would have been available. On this note it was surprising there was no anti-bacterial multi-purpose spray to sanitise surfaces. When we went to cook I was shocked to see the cleanliness of the utensils and cutlery left for us. As you can see from the images below there is food and oil clearly visible, again with COVID this didn’t give us much confidence. We knew that there wasn’t many places near by to eat so we came prepared and got so excited when we saw the brand new BBQ on the deck. However upon preparing to cook we discovered that the utensils provided weren’t suitable for cooking on the BBQ. We struggled with what was provided. It’s also very challenging to get the BBQ hot in its current location when there is any wind. On our last day we went to open the new box of tissues in the bathroom to discover they were all wet and mouldy. Overall the property is beautiful and in a great location but it wasn’t clean. We provided the feedback direct post our stay and am still pending a response over 2 weeks later, very disappointing.
