Pronghorn Resort

I stayed in the primary lodge. There was nothing extraordinary about my room (save for the view), but it had everything I needed and wanted. The restaurants on site were very good, and the service was great each time. Special shout-outs to Brad, Jeremy, and Simon at Iris and Kate at the front desk. Each of them were exceptionally kind and helpful. The property is magnificent. I was only there for golf, so I didn't experience the wellness center, but if it's even half as good as all that I did experience, it'd still be great.

What a hidden gem outside of Bend. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Loved that they are pet-friendly. The only complaint that I had was the AC temps are managed by the hotel. Meaning that you could not lower the temp below 65. On our second night stay I did call the front desk but was told that if I lowered the temp below 65 “it would cause problems” so they offered to send a tech out, who did but I didn’t want to make a stink so I told him the unit is working now. And for a woman who’s in the pre-menopause ….. I was miserable for the 4 nights we stayed. If they had a ceiling fan I would’ve been fine - on our last night I had to sleep with the sliding door open. Since we were on the first floor I did worry about safety but I was dying in sweat that I didn’t care at the point. The restaurant on-site named IRIS was excellent - hint hint …. Even though it’s not on their menu …. You can order a burger from there. It was $20 but honestly was the best burger ever, you can tell it’s was good quality meat that they used. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the rooms are very cozy and the entire resort is stunning! I would highly recommend and even visit again!

‼️Disappointing Experience for the Price I grew up in Bend and hadn’t been out to Juniper Preserve in years, so I was really looking forward to this stay. The property is still beautiful, and the front desk staff were amazing, super friendly, helpful, and quick to fix things. That said, my first night I was woken up at 3 a.m. by a fridge that wouldn’t stop beeping. The front desk had it swapped out the next day, which I appreciate, but it still made for a rough night. I asked if management could offer a discounted rate for another night to make up for it, but they said no. For the price they charge, I expected better follow-through from management. Between the booking issues, limited promotions, and management not really stepping up when something went wrong, I don’t think I’ll be back.
