The service was impeccable with detail to everything. Courteous and friendly service given every time I raised an issue. As a wheelchair user, travel and accommodation are usually faced with challenges. But the Protea Willows at Bloemfontein was excellent. Thanks to Thandeka the Manager and her team🥰 I was offered VVIP attention throughout my stay
The location of the hotel is quite central to everything else. The security is great with access control coming in and going out. The rooms are basic, neat and have everything you need. This specific room I had has an open plan shower and basin with a curtain that can be closed to provide privacy from the room. The toilet is in a separate room. The bed is very comfortable and the room has a desk to sit and work at. Breakfast was good, and has all the normal food you would expect. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel so can’t comment on that.
Not great, needs an overhaul. Slept with a light over my bed that wouldn't switch off. Waited 40 minutes for two cans of coke. Reception was decent though.
