Protea Hotel by Marriott Franschhoek

Gorgeous hotel. Friendly staff. Beautifully appointed rooms. On the morning of check out we left before the restaurant was open so the front desk gave us breakfast to go. They were very generous and gave us orange juice, grapes, apples, oranges, yogurt, nuts, muffins and croissant sandwiches. They truly go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

This is a good location to experience various wineries. The hotel and restaurant staff were fantastic. The food was excellent! I only give our room (two room apartment) 4 stars because of its location. It was in a different build across the street from the main hotel and close to a place that had live outdoor music most of the night. Other than location, the room was nice.

A very pleasant stay in a very comfortable hotel and will go back again. We got a warm welcome on arrival and the staff are very caring and friendly. The building is beautifully kept with lovely decor.
