Protea Hotel by Marriott Kimberley

The Protea Hotel in Kimberley is an absolute gem! Beyond its stunning architecture and impeccable upkeep, what truly sets it apart is the warmth and excellence of its people. I was welcomed with such genuine hospitality and had the pleasure of working from the hotel while indulging in the most delicious meals and refreshing drinks. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating an atmosphere of comfort and care. This level of service is a true reflection of outstanding management and leadership. A special mention to Blondie, whose beautiful soul and kindness left a lasting impression on me — she truly crept deep into my heart. Thank you to every single staff member for making my experience so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and hospitality.

Hotel and rooms are a bit old, but their location close to the big hole makes it very nice to stay here. Breakfast is awesome!!

Horrible experience of their service, always stay at protea hotels throughout the country…this one I must say in terms of service are not customer centric! No appreciation for corporate travel dynamics Not to mention a 2 hour wait for my dinner! And the reason I’m told is because there was a buffet and it was busy 🤦🏾‍♀️ No gym, so that was a let down too. Staff were friendly though…but definitely not coming back here. Great location Here 3 nights of 2 and room was not fully serviced, the location tube had water…maybe expired, not sure but definitely not what a cream should be
