Amazing stay! Complimentary drink on arrival! Room overlooking the sea is stunning. Hotel always clean and tidy. The staff were excellent! So polite and professional ( even the cleaners would say good morning and make the effort) while still maintaining a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Food was great, lots of different choices every night. There is something for everybody and the staff at meal times are so on it! Only thing I would say is it’s geared up for much older people than myself and my partner. Us in our early 20s felt the entertainment was slightly past us. Didn’t stop us from doing bingo everyday though! Finding a sun bed was a challenge everyday, but we found the rooftop to be much quieter. All in all if you’re after a relaxing peaceful break and not party central…. This is perfect for you. Thankyou to all the staff and team for making our stay amazing!

Just returned from a week's stay at Hotel Alicia. It is a lovely, clean hotel in a great location with lovely, friendly staff , good food and clean, modern rooms. Book a sea view room, you won't be disappointed. The one gripe is the sunbeds. We went on the beach but as were having a very early breakfast we saw a woman putting towels on sunbeds at 6.30am. Not even sure what to say! Checked in today room 339 half board for 2 weeks. Hotel is advertised as 4* and what I can only describe as 3* the room air con is pretty much nonexistent. The “fridge” didn’t work but the hotel said it’s a mini bar to keep your water cool. Never mind storing my insulin in it because it doesn’t work full stop. The bed had a delve in the middle of it that a 100 stone beast spent a week in it. The ceiling the plaster was crumbling and all over the bed. Next the restaurant well that’s next. Dreadful, shepards pie full of salt, nothing you could make a complete meal with. €11 euros for 4 small bottles of water and just to top it off a couple all over each other in the restaurant. I admit I am a Hilton guy and when they say 4 star I expect 4 star standards. You can’t even get fresh towels for the pool daily, twice a week changed we were informed upon check in. The bathroom shower was full of limescale that barely any water comes out. Although there was some good shower product to use. Towels again are one big towel and one hand towel per person. You also have to pay €2 per day to use the safe in the room, I’ve never had to pay to use safe in a hotel in my life! The pool side, well good luck getting a sun lounger, they all have towels on and the old folk disappear and leave the towels there all day. I’m told because they are regulars it’s accepted. For the first day and 6800 pounds for 2 weeks half board I feel completely violated. Never again will I book with TUI and as for the reviews on this hotel, if the people think it’s 4* then your expectations aren’t the same as my 4* especially when this is supposed to be a premium hotel Also when I went to pay the hotel they don’t accept Amex they just tell you your card hard insufficient funds. What hotel especially a 4* premium doesn’t accept Amex Not even sure where the reviews have came from on here, but we booked because of the reviews and was one of the biggest mistakes we made.
