From the moment we checked in, everything exceeded expectations. The suite was incredibly spacious, with a full kitchen, comfy bed, and a huge bathroom — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. We especially enjoyed the private balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very responsive to our needs. The on-site restaurant, 5300 Chop House, served some of the best meals we had during our trip — truly a hidden gem! The pool and spa area felt like a peaceful retreat, and the location is ideal — just minutes from the airport, shopping, and great restaurants. Highly recommend for couples, families, or even business travelers. This place combines resort luxury with the comfort of home. Can’t wait to come back!
Unfortunately, my stay here was quite a disappointment, especially for my first visit to Miami. The hotel’s photos and reviews painted a much nicer picture than what I actually experienced. I have stayed in Holiday Inns—and even some motels—that were in far better condition than this property. The in-room phone was not working, so I had to use my cellphone to contact the front desk. I requested extra linens three separate times, and on the third call—well past midnight—I was told, “Oops, yes sorry about that, we’ll get it over there,” as if my earlier requests had been completely forgotten. It is now 1:30 a.m., and I am still waiting. Additionally, I noticed small ants in the bathroom, which raises concerns about cleanliness. Even more troubling, the room did not have a secondary lock or latch on the door, which made me feel unsafe knowing that anyone with a key could enter at any time. Overall, this hotel fell far short of expectations, and I would not recommend it to others.
I had never had such a bad experience at a hotel. I stayed there for a week and they never once changed the bed sheets. The housekeeping staff washes the dishes in the dishwasher and just leaves them there, so as a guest, you have to deal with it yourself — and many times you find dirty dishes. The pool only opens when they feel like it and at whatever time they decide. The lock on my room ran out of battery, and I had to wait 7 hours for them to fix the issue, with no access to my clothes or personal belongings during that time. Of course, that day the room wasn’t cleaned either, because apparently there’s zero communication between housekeeping and the front desk. The room was dirty, full of dust everywhere and the room doors look disgusting. The elevator in my tower didn’t even have a button to call it, so I was forced to use the stairs — even though my son had just had surgery. Everything was a disaster, honestly! So if you can avoid the headache, do not stay at this hotel. It’s expensive and completely useless. It will only make you and your family have a terrible time. They ruined my summer vacation with my kids!
