Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

The hotel was very clean. We saw staff constantly cleaning the common areas and our room was well maintained and looked very nice. Especially for a hotel of this age. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The one complaint I have is that on check out day housekeeping knocked on our door and entered our room early in the morning when we were sleeping. They left once they saw we were still in the room. I feel it would be better customer service to have a way for housekeeping to see when we have checked out and not try to enter the room before then. I can understand they may not know when to clean the room during the middle of a stay, but surely on checkout day they should be aware if you have vacated the room or not.

Was not impressed. Upon arrival I’m informed that I have to pay $15 a day to park!!! The rooms are $180 a night!!! Seriously? Get to the room and is smells of stale cigarettes like it used to be a smoking room. Tried watching the streaming TV but the internet was so slow it would pause every 30 seconds to a minute. They sent someone up to reset the TV, still the same issue. Then they said they would reboot the router but didn’t seem as though they did because the problem was never solved. If you are going to charge so much then your services need to up to par! The only nice part was the fitness center. Was able to get in a good workout with the equipment. Would not stay here again. So VERY overpriced for a hotel that under performs!

I was charged a premium for a room I had to switch out of in the middle of the night because the AC wasn’t working properly. They initially reached out and said they’d work with me to make it right, but after one email, I never heard back. Not a bad place if you get a solid rate, but the last-minute pricing isn’t worth it. Just look closer to the freeway for better rates and basically the same quality of rooms.
