I’ll admit I’m a bit biased, as someone who spent many summers in Mazatlán as a kid growing up and now as an adult, this place holds a special spot in my heart. On this trip, my family and I decided to embrace the experience as “tourists” and not stay in our family home but stay at this hotel, and we were so impressed by the hospitality we received. Omar and his colleague (I wish I could remember his name!) at the night buffet were truly outstanding. Both were incredibly hardworking, kind, and attentive. They served us for four nights and made us feel right at home each evening. One night, they even surprised us with a specialty pizza for our table the moment they saw us arrive such a thoughtful gesture! Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression, and by the end of our stay, we made sure to find them and say goodbye. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!
A beautiful property, well maintained with great rooms. We were lucky enough to be given a top floor room with a wonderful sea view. Our room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed catching the shuttle to the Mazatlan hotel to spend the day on the beach - it is really convenient to be able to use facilities at either hotel seamlessly.
Great location but the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The room smells strongly of mold. There's a lot of trash in the pool. I would not recommend the all inclusive package instead maybe opt for eating off property. Taxi drivers and bell men/valet were all super friendly, but staff at the front desk was at times rude or less than helpful. Getting a drink at the bar was not always easy either. Often times we were completely ignored while they engaged in conversations with someone they knew.
