We came as guests and left as family. The host , Shambhuram , welcomed us with open arms and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The cottage was charming and modern, and we loved relaxing in the open courtyard outside. The food was simply the best we had in india - all cooked over fire by his wife and sister in law. The candlelight dinner was stunning, and the cooking class was fun and informative. The host even walked with us to the market where we tried local street food with their kids. This place is full of love, tradition, and beauty.

Pukhraj Garh is not just a place to stay- it is a place to connect. The cottage was very clean and peaceful. I enjoyed the morning silence and evening village sounds. The host's invited us into their kitchen and we made traditional bread together. They arranged a sunset walk and then walked with us to a village market where we tried snacks we would never have found ourselves. The candlelight dinner, the cooking class, the henna art - everything was done with love. It's the most meaningful experience I've had in jodhpur Rajasthan.

There are places you visit for a night, and places that stay with you forever - Pukhraj Garh is definitely the latter. We had read reviews about the cooking classes and candlelight dinner, but the real value in the people and personal moments. Dariya welcomed us into ker kitchen, taught us how to make millet roti on a firewood stove, and shared stories of life in salawas village. The room was immaculate, the pool area peaceful, and the green lawn perfect for yoga. We did a village safari, interacted with local artisans, joined a sunset walk, and shared tea with the hosts while their children guided us through the local market to try street food. As we left, a local women applied beautiful henna designs as a parting gift. In every way, this place offered intimacy, beauty, and deep cultural exchange. A must - visit.
