I'm a regular guest at this hotel and keep coming back because of the excellent service and genuinely attentive staff. They are always welcoming and professional, which really helps make each stay comfortable and enjoyable. That said, a few of the amenities are starting to show their age. Things like the soap dispensers and the ironing board could do with a bit of attention. It is a small detail, but it does stand out given the hotel's otherwise high standards.
Over 3 weeks I stayed in 3 different rooms. All 3 were slightly different, but were good. Breakfast is amazing. Food choices and quality was really good. Hotel gas swimming pool, sauna and gym facilities. The gym was larger than in most other hotels. There were two (infrared and stones) saunas, both working well and a good size. Swimming was on the smaller side, but good enough. The only negative was that the showers in the changing room were cold and you could not adjust the temperature. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The location is great as it's a few minutes walk to the city centre and the train station.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is excellent, the staff is wonderful, the ac was great. We stayed for two days in a suite. Very spacious with two rooms and a kitchen area. One personal mini fridge and one fully stocked mini bar. There are hotplates in here too, separate toilet from the bathroom shower area. Small vanity, really excellent layout. However- The bathtub was not clean. There was a ring around the tub. The shower was good, but there were water fluctuations that would suddenly burn you with hot water. There was only one luggage rack, which was very odd. We requested another one, but the hotel didn't accommodate us. The closet and bathroom doors were very squeaky and loud. Towels seemed old and not fluffy. The pillows were okay, 2 memory foam and 2 stuffed cotton euro shams. The beds were very comfortable, and the sheets were soft. Room gets very dark. The customer service was above and beyond.
