I was here on a business trip. I must say i been in nicier hotels....but it was fine. The staff was good they tried their best to be helpfull even theg did not know english. Only place you can speak english in hotel and they will understand you....it is on the reception. Other places they use translator in phone.

This hotel, like much of China business travel, is struggling to wake up from the pandemic. This place is dark and musty. Many sections of the hotel are just completely dark. It is also eerily empty; our group of 20 business people seemed to be the only ones in the hotel. Room was well decorated but the air conditioning didn't seem to be working very well--the room was always musty and warm. Breakfast buffet was decent and staff were friendly.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel and Hotels.com, which demonstrates their lack of accountability, misleading advertising, and refusal to issue fair refunds. I booked an Executive Room with Business Lounge Access at the Pullman Foshan Shunde hotel via Hotels.com. Upon arrival, I discovered that the lounge was not in operation, meaning I had paid extra for a service that didn’t exist. I immediately contacted Hotels.com’s customer service to request a partial refund (the difference between my booked room and a standard room), but they refused to take responsibility. Instead, they claimed that a refund depended on the hotel’s approval—despite the fact that I booked through Hotels.com, not directly with the hotel. Hotels.com falsely advertised a service, took my payment, and then refused to compensate me for their misleading listing. Their response was inadequate, offering only a 50 HKD travel coupon (~6 USD) as a “gesture of goodwill,” which is insulting compared to the money I lost. This experience has shown me that Hotels.com does not protect its customers and that bookings through their platform cannot be trusted. I strongly advise others not to book this hotel and through Hotels.com unless they want to risk being charged for services they will never receive.
