We recently stayed at Pullman Magenta Shores for a family getaway and booked a 3-Bedroom Deluxe Villa. The villa was spacious, modern, and perfect for our group, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. It felt new and well-maintained, with multiple amenities that made the stay enjoyable—from the large living area to the outdoor patio and full kitchen. While the overall presentation of the villa was impressive, the kitchen was slightly understocked with utensils, which made preparing meals a bit tricky at times. Another small letdown was the indoor pool, which was advertised as heated but felt quite cold during our visit. Despite these minor issues, the resort grounds were well-kept, and the location was quiet and relaxing, perfect for families wanting to unwind. There’s easy access to the beach, and the resort facilities such as the golf course and outdoor pools added to the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it was a lovely stay and suited our needs well. We’d happily return in the future if the opportunity arises, especially for another relaxed family escape.
I really enjoyed a winter weekend away at this venue. The restaurant, staff were great. We couldn’t get through to the golf course in weeks in advance & could only get on at 4.30pm, which was the sole reason for my husband and friends to have arranged this trip. So I’d recommend booking super early. The food was good, and a great atmosphere. The clientele were good, a wide mix of people. The location was great. Not too far from the restaurants & bars of The Entrance. The premises were well decorated & had everything you needed. The kitchen needed a good clean re the oven & in the nooks. But thr grounds being as large as they are, were well maintained & tropical. But mostly, being so close to the beach walks, being able to get up early & enjoy the views and nature was a highlight.
Extremely run down apartment. We booked a "long stay" of a couple of months for my family of 4, myself, my our two small children. On arrival our first impression was disappointment. The walls were filthy, the sofa was stained and smelly. We had to put blankets over the sofa to feel comfortable to sit on it. The microwave was rusted off the brackets it sits on and kept falling off. The washing machine didn't work, but was replaced. The dryer didn't have a lint filter so lint sprayed accumulated all through the laundry. The dishwasher also didn't clean the dishes. Most of the power points were coming away from the wall and I got zapped a couple of times. Housekeeping went through our private cupboards and belongings, found my husbands prescribed medication and accused him of smoking in the apartment, which was untrue and left us feeling violated and upset. When speaking to the manager about all of the things wrong with our apartment he said "Well that's why you got the discounted rate, because nothing in that apartment works. Our other apartments go for $500 per night" Our understanding was that we were paying $1000 p/w as a discounted rate because we booked a long stay, not that we were going to be put in a dilapidated apartment. My husband is a member of the Golf club which cost us thousands of dollars and he doesn't want to go back and play there again. The whole place is under staffed, maintenance is non-existent, and some serious money needs to be spent. All in all, all that glitters is not gold. Do I recommend? Absolutely not!
