I absolutely loved staying at The Pullman. It was such a beautiful hotel and the service is impeccable. All the staff are amazing. I found the little attentions to detail really impressive. One of my pet peeves is when hotels give you a tiny bar of soap to wash your hands with. But The Pullman has a lovely big bottle of hand soap and lotion. They also have a pillow menu, which I am sure people would really appreciate and I've never seen that before. The bed was super comfy and honestly one of the best sleeps I've had at a hotel. It feels like sleeping on a cloud. Especially when you have the view of the city as well. Room service and mini bar aren't over priced either. The breakfast and coffee was great. The room overall was nice, maybe a little dated in the bathroom and the shower/bath tub tap was hard to work out. 😆 But that is probably the only fault I can think of. The service was great, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, it's a great place to go for a weekend away or if you want to do some city exploring.
Spacious rooms with good sized bathrooms. Had a lovely view over Hyde Park. Basic amenities provided, including tea, coffee, soaps, shampoos etc. great facilities including spa, pool gym and sauna. Would not recommend room service. Our food was delivered uncovered and stone cold. We have used room service on previous stay without issue. Buffet breakfast was good. I was advised my receipt would be emailed for accommodation, parking and food but 5 days and 3 emails later I still have not received it. We opted to have housekeeping come in between our stay but despite the “make up my room “ sign being on the door from 8am, no one attended
This hotel is dated, not a 5 star hotel more like a 4 star. The lounge area in the foyer could do with an update, couches are stained and dirty, not a good first impression. location is good but it’s a fair walk into the heart of the city. Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Oxford St is just around the corner. 2 small lifts for the hotel the 3rd was under construction, had to wait at least 5 min each time you wanted to go up or down, very annoying. Rooms are a good size with nice views overlooking the park. Bed was comfortable. Okay for 1 or 2 nights stay but wouldn’t stay here for extended stay. Breakfast in restaurant was disappointing, basic selection, croissants and pastries were hard. $40 buffet is expensive for what’s offered. Coffee was good , staff were friendly.
