They let me extend my check out time from 12pm to 6pm due to a late flight. It was so helpful and kind. The front desk staff was very helpful. The bartenders were also a pleasure. I cannot thank the staff enough for having us and treating us so well. I’m also not sure if I was part of a promotion making me a diamond member (see image), so perhaps I was treated better than I should have been? Either way excellent experience over all.

Hotel is very clean and beautiful. Located very close to Guarulhos airport .The service was 5 stars and the employees were very kind. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. We went to to the BASE Steakhouse in the hotel, the food was amazing, and Lucas from the grilling station was fantastic. All in all, the hotel was great.

The room, although clean, was very dated and old compared to the pictures. Considering it was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed in in Brazil, it was also the worst. The staff lacked empathy. Unfortunately, we got food poisoning the night that we were there. We were very ill and had to get a doctor. We weren’t sure we would be able to fly. Despite the fact that we had eaten in the hotel restaurant the night we got ill, the hotel staff were quite sure that we hadn’t got the food poisoning there, and instead had contracted it at least a day previously, when we were in a different place. We were also told that if we weren’t well enough to fly, due to being so ill, we would still have to vacate the hotel by 2pm as they had other guests coming and couldn’t accommodate us. Then, at 1pm, a member of staff came to our room to see why we hadn’t left yet. At no point did the staff ask if we needed anything, even a bottle of water. There was a total lack of empathy for the situation we were in. The facilities looked nice, but unfortunately we were too ill to use them, and also too ill for breakfast. Overall, not the experience I expect from a 5 star hotel.
