Punta Chiarito Resort

I stayed at the Punta Chiarito Resort for three nights with a friend as we had a wedding in Italy - we were really pleased on arrival at just how beautiful the hotel location is, the views are incredible, the resort is really spacious meaning it never feels over crowded, and the service was amazing. We were greeted by Nikola on arrival who was lovely and really took the time to make you feel special, as did all of the staff. We were staying in the annex building - which we were slightly nervous about having read other reviews about how far away it is / what the rooms are like, but we were offered a free shuttle service to and from our room which we took everyday and arrived quickly and was actually really quick and they arrived within 5 mins of us calling each time. The rooms in the annex were also really spacious and quiet which we wanted. The food and wine at the resort was amazing (especially the tomatoes which are grown on site and the olive oil which is made on site). We were looking for a really relaxing few days and it couldn’t have been better - everyone we met at the resort returns year after year and we will definitely be returning. :)

I expected this to be one of the best weeks of my life, and it was. Punta Chiarito is a cosy, charming hotel in the most stunning spot I’ve ever been. It is run by a wonderful local family; every member of staff was warm and attentive. We were so well looked after that it felt as though we were farewelling friends by the end of the week. The owner, Nicola, is a smiley guy in his eighties who built this place from nothing forty years ago. He proudly toured us round the cellar showing off all the produce. His grandson, Nicola, was chatty and charming and took care of us at lunch every day in the cantina (you must eat here!), as well as Giovanni, Franco and Francesco. The service was excellent, outshone only by the incredible food. Mariano and Maria were wonderful at dinner every night, including taking care of our sundown negroni delivery to the room. The family’s farm and vineyard supplies a glorious array of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as wine and olive oil. We ate to our heart’s content all week - everything was amazing. We enjoyed the lovely warm pool, as well as the beach just below with stunning, crystal clear water and lots of fishes. The room was lovely, and equipped with all we needed for the week. The view from almost every corner of the hotel is spectacular. This is a truly unique spot. We are already planning a return visit.

Excellent resort with magnificent views from every room, friendly staff and delicious food! The thermal pools were very relaxing and plenty of deck chairs anytime of day. We stayed in the annex which is located about 800 meters from the main building. An easy 10 minute walk downhill for breakfast and dinner. Free shuttle drove us back up the hill. It is available to transport either way, we just chose to walk. The farm restaurant next to the parking lot had the most delicious food for a mid afternoon snack! Wine was delicious and the fresh olive oil was superb!
