I had a great experience staying here yesterday with my family. The reception and ground staff were very polite, professional, and welcoming. The interior was simple yet elegant, and the bathroom was spotless with all the essentials provided. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Very good property for the price. Rooms are spacious and clean, though lacking in space to pack and unpack luggage. Early check-in was not a problem and no additional charge. Breakfast was offered for €8 when I checked in, but was only €2 when I booked online…in any event I’d be leaving early for a flight so didn’t purchase either, but seems better to add breakfast at the time of booking if you’re going to at all. Location about 15 minutes from the old town, around 45 minutes from the airport both by transit (which is very cheap and frequent). A few drawbacks: the bedding does not fit the bed, with two twin duvets provided instead of one queen. The shower door is also clear glass and opens directly into the room…not a problem if you’re on your own or as a couple that gets along, emotionally scarring if travelling as a family. Instant coffee and tea provided in the room. Good value for a comfortable room. Would return.
Terrible Experience – Zero Stars if Possible This was an absolutely awful experience. If there were zero or negative stars, I would give them. This hotel has no empathy whatsoever. I booked the wrong flight dates and tried to communicate about changing the reservation, but the staff and manager just shifted blame. They demanded **3 times the original amount** to modify the booking—even though they initially said **2 times** on the phone! Their responses were inconsistent and deliberately delayed until after the check-in time had passed, just to avoid accommodating the request. I wasn’t even asking for a refund—I was willing to pay the difference—but demanding **3 times the original price** is clearly intentional and unreasonable. In the end, they charged me for a stay I never even used. I have no idea how this hotel has such high ratings. I strongly urge other customers to reconsider staying here—there are far better hotels with much better service and actual empathy.
