Absolutely lovely. Very well appointed with everything you might need. Very comfortable. Very accommodating of our dog. Highly recommend and good price for the accommodations.

Great location just around the corner from the cathedral. Seriously eccentric decor, fixtures and fittings, which are great fun if not always practical.

We booked with this property in July 2025. Very disappointing! Rude communication and misleading cancellation messages. (with no refund) They called us suddenly (very late) at 11.30PM, the night before we were supposed to check in. I was asleep. Then they sent information instead (without having my consent) to my private Whatsap and asked for a photocopy of our passports for check in. I informed the company (Purple Dog Suites) that I was willing to share the textual information of my passport, but not the visual information (no photocopy). They then very rudely replied, "If you do not comply, you can cancel your reservation." They made no effort to make the booking or communication pleasant. And so they immediately suggested we cancel the stay, even though they apparently already knew they would not provide a refund. (as became apparent afterwards) I think they should have mentioned that in their proposal, but they did not. I immediately asked that if I indeed wanted to cancel (as they suggested) if I could get a refund. They didn't respond to this question, and I didn't receive an answer until I cancelled myself (this was on the evening my reservation for a two day stay was supposed to start). Several emails later, they remain unwilling to offer any type of refund whatsoever. Advice: Please choose a more polite company for your stay who does not suggest that you can cancel but offers no compensation....
