After we asked successfully for a room change and got a room on the 3rd floor (from ground floor) the stay was very pleasant. The staff did not speak English well but tried very hard to make every guest feel welcomed. The room was beautiful, spacious and the bed very comfortable. This is a place I would like to recommend for sure.
Close to the red square, 20 minutes by foot and walking slowly, friendly and helpful staff, I had a problem with the shower and they solved immediately, junior suite are really spacious I found pillow and bed perfect for my need .. I choose pushkin hotel cause I was looking for an half board stay, the food is good and really tasty but you can choose only American coffee or tea, water and wine are extra so I use the daily 2 free water bottle during dinner (you can refill the bottle from the hallway dispenser in every floor), probably will be not good for typical Italians that looking for bidet in bathroom. The only negative situation was the not perfect soundproofing and a/c split a bit too noisy.
The location is very center to cultural attractions. 5-10 minutes walks from Tverskaya metro station. Hotel staff is very helpful. Clean room with wifi access, free breakfast is quite good. However, Junior suite is not good because it has to climb by small staircase in the room.
