Good location and nice clean/modern hotel. The location is perfect if you are wanting to visit the centre, tram stop just outside the front door. The breakfast buffet was quite good, but with how cheap some food is in town you might want to skip some days.

We have stayed at this hotel twice before & found hotel quality, service & location v good hence return visit last week...Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing major refurbishment..we were totally unaware although we were told somewhat sarcastically that it was on their web site .. Even our uber taxi driver feared it was closed down- that was the outside impression ...a small A4 typed sign directed us to another door where we entered via boarded up corridor through the building site...very ugly & dusty & a bit of a security risk as any one could enter to go up in lift to any floor. There is a make shift lounge bar & reception on first floor...Nobody apologised for this state of affairs & when we eventually more than half way through our visit complained about the noise etc we were offered a room higher up but frankly we did not want the upheaval..We were also offered a voucher for a free drink by way of recompense! When we came to use this on our final night it did not even cover our nightly Aperol spritz nor could we pay the difference...very poor behaviour...we certainly won't be staying there again

We didn’t even make it to check-in because of the appalling attitude at the front desk. Upon arrival, we were met not with a welcome, but with clear annoyance—as if we were interrupting something. The reception staff were sitting in the back office, chatting loudly, and seemed visibly bothered when we approached. No greeting, no professionalism, just cold stares and dismissiveness. It was enough for us to cancel the booking on the spot. Hospitality starts at reception, and sadly, this place failed from the first moment.
