Find a Better Resort – This One Was a Major Disappointment Just to be clear: find a better resort than this one. If you're looking for peace of mind, this is absolutely NOT the place. 🫤 I had one of the worst experiences anyone could have when trying to enjoy a relaxing time at a resort. Living in the desert, booking a place at the end of July means one thing is non-negotiable: the AC must be excellent. Unfortunately, the opposite happened here. One of the AC units in our room wasn’t working at all, and the other one struggled and barely cooled the space. I was literally sweating in the room, completely unacceptable for this weather and price. What made it worse was how they handled it. I called the number provided in my reservation, and they said they’d contact customer service. They sent someone to check, but all he did was play with the remote before saying, “We can’t fix this tonight. It will be fixed tomorrow morning.” That’s not helpful when you're only staying one night and need to sleep in a hot room. They offered a temporary solution, a portable cooler that uses water but even that didn’t work. I had no choice, so I accepted. They brought it, tried to run it, and after another call, sent the same person to fix it. After a while, he confirmed: “This one doesn’t work either.” They finally replaced it with another unit, but by that time, most of my night was wasted just waiting around for someone to fix or replace something that should’ve been checked before I arrived. This is not how anyone wants to spend their time when booking a resort. The whole point is to relax and enjoy the moment, not sweat through the night while chasing after basic services that should’ve been guaranteed.
