QT Canberra

I stayed here for a business trip and loved it. The rooms were really spacious, the view of the lake was amazing, the service was great and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Only downside was the cost of the parking and the structure of it - your time doesn't start from arrival, but instead is a set time in the afternoon.

We had an okay stay at QT Canberra. The rate and package were very competitive, including parking, breakfast, and a few nice perks. And the reception staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. We did have some issues with our room, the first was uncomfortably cold and the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. We were moved to another room (thanks to the helpful team), but even there the climate control wasn’t working properly. At least it was warmer! The hotel itself feels quite dated and the rooms don’t reflect the stylish vibe shown on their website. A bit of a letdown compared to other QT properties we’ve stayed at in other cities. That said, the breakfast was decent, and the complimentary drinks at the bar from our package were a nice addition. All in all, it’s not a standout QT experience but it was good value for money and we appreciated not being hit with a huge bill at the end.

The bathroom had mould on the floor, tiles and all on the walls. Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned. Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Mould is very toxic. We have stayed in other QT hotels that have been wonderful, however this one I would not recommend. Also, in room dining have no idea what foods are gluten free on their menu, very risky for those who are allergic.
