Quadro Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was really friendly and welcoming and they were really kind to upgrade me to a room with massive balcony. The room itself was a bit small but it’s fine for 1 person. The hotel is quite close to the bus station and there’s also a shopping mall and some restaurants nearby so it’s very easy to get around.

There’s no AC, the water while showering in the bathroom started to smell like sewage after running it for about 5 mins….Too much construction outside of the hotel (which they should disclose) and inside smells like cement. No Insulation so expect to hear EVERYTHING. There’s other place that is worth the €100 a night, will not book again if I am back in Malta. Do yourself a favour and pay extra and go to a different hotel. Service was okay, there’s no active concierge in the Quadro building you have to drag your luggage back and forth to the building across to check in. Also they will not charge the €1 (for two days/ 50 cents each day) Environmental fee in your bookings, you will need to pay when you get there. Please make sure you bring change because they will make you get cash from an ATM nearby that charges over €5 to cash out €20. Their reason is that they get charged €1.50 if you use card payment. To be fair €1 is not a lot, however when I checked in I offered my cash but they did not have change, and I did not have any more Euros when I left. Overall some staff are nice, their policy is disappointing.

There is no AC and it is suffocating. They claim to have “central AC” which is set to 26-27 degrees. They weren’t even able to provide me with a fan and you can open the window, but there’s noise and there isn’t even a screen door so prepared to be eaten by mosquitos. This is not a 4 star hotel and is overpriced. I stayed at Onyx hotel nearby previously which did have AC.
