Very happy with our stay at Hotel Colonial. The room is very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. There’s a usb/ lightning charging cable next to the phone which is very handy. Great location. Walking distance to most cafes/ restaurants/ shops. The only downside is the noise from faucet and the shower. You can hear it when the next room is using toilet/ shower.
Very well located and having parking is a must in Launceston if you hire a car. Very ample room with comfortable beds and a decent shower. The original building is kept beautifully, a pride to it's owner. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
The place is decent with a historical touch. The receptionist is friendly and gave us dinner suggestion while we checked in late. Be aware that there is no elevator in the building we stayed, in case you need to carry your heavy luggage
