Quality Hotel Expo

Stayed here because Strawberry offered rooms for 690 kr per night to single travelers and had a great experience especially for that price. The location obviously isn’t central but there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel so it’s relatively easy to get to the city. On the other hand, the surrounding area is peaceful, with seaside and lots of greenery (the view from the window was an added bonus). The breakfast was included in the price and had lots of options, even smoothies. The only downside for me was that breakfast ended early, 9.30 on weekdays and 10.00 on weekends (I think at least in the summer it’d make sense to expect many people to want to sleep in), plus the fact that someone knocked on the door in the middle of the night but I guess that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Expo in Oslo and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their exceptional service and attention to detail. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, offering a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast — a generous spread with plenty of delicious options, from fresh pastries and fruit to hot dishes and Norwegian specialties. It was the perfect way to start each day.

The hotel needs a major renovation. The mattresses were in poor condition, and the furniture was visibly old and worn. The floor panels were damaged, with noticeable wear and tear. The fold-out beds from the wall were not only hard but also dirty. Additionally, the walls in the room had stains, giving the impression of poor maintenance and lack of care for cleanliness and aesthetics. I would not recommend this place.
