Quality Inn South

The room was very clean. We didn’t see any bugs. The mattress was hard and you could feel the springs. The shower was newly remodeled and had great water pressure. The bedding was very clean and smelt nice. The room was outdated you could see the ceiling tiles coming out of place. Breakfast was good. I was happy to scrambled eggs and sausage on the menu. The WiFi was nonexistent. The room had a fridge and microwave. It was a good place to stop for the night. The staff was very friendly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offering was good and typical for this chain. Room was clean but the beds in our room were in poor shape and in need of replacing. The buildings were pretty bad shape and looking very rough and run down. The hotel has no pool in spite of the room paperwork posting pool hours. After walking around the building looking for the pool and not finding it, I took a quick look at the satellite view in Google maps and it clearly shows a pool that once existed, but has since been filled in. If you want a one night stop, it is passable but really needs a full renovation or maybe they just need to build a new hotel in Valdosta.

I am not one who usually does reviews, but this case I am. I give the hotel itself 1 star, the staff on the other hand was great i give them 5 stars. Hotel was definitely out of date, the rooms were clean, but it was not worth what was charged for the room. Took a shower pulled a towel off the rack that was supposed to be clean and had blood on it, pretty disgusting. Reported to front desk, which girl was very nice about it, took notes and I explained everything to her even showed her the picture I took of it. Something like this though should be addressed immediately. After finding this i then checked the remainder of the towels before using one. Also states a pool, which there is NO POOL!! Will not be staying at this hotel again
