From the moment we arrived, our experience at the hotel was smooth and welcoming. The check-in process was efficient, and the hotel itself was easy to locate, which made our arrival stress-free. A special mention goes to the front desk staff, who were not only accommodating but also genuinely lovely to engage with. His local knowledge and friendly recommendations, especially for our wine exploration, added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Our room matched the expectations set by the photos in the advertisements. While the space was more compact than others we’ve seen at a similar price point, it was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which I particularly appreciated. Though my partner, who is quite particular about bedding, was initially dissatisfied with the bed quality, we were impressed by how promptly Adam and the team responded. Their thoughtful gesture of a handwritten card and a complimentary bottle of wine was sincerely appreciated and showed a true commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. We would happily return and recommend the hotel to others looking for a friendly and tidy place to stay. #hotel #flinders #morningtonpeninsula #travel #staycation #familytravel #resorts #review

Was gifted a Red balloon experience to Quarters at Flinders Hotel. The hotel was exceptional! Receptionist called before our arrival to confirm our check-in time, was incredibly friendly upon our arrival and even provided us with recommendations on where to visit for dinner. Room was clean and well presented with ample room. Bed was spacious and very comfortable. TV had option to watch free movies, cast your device or watch YouTube which was great as I had a few videos to catch up on. Location was great, close to everything in town. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!

We were gifted a voucher for a stay here to celebrate our 30th birthday. It had the legally required three year validity. Tragically, our two year old daughter passed away during that time, and understandably, we weren’t able to use the voucher due to our overwhelming grief and PTSD from that day. When I reached out to explain our situation, the first response I received from staff didn’t even acknowledge what I had shared about our daughter’s passing. The reply for an extension and to book was “We cannot make an exception this time.” The manager later responded, stating that since our daughter died within two years of the voucher being issued, we should have redeemed it within that time, despite the three-year validity. He wrote: “This meant it was valid and redeemable for over two years prior to the tragic loss of your daughter.” Having to then explain to strangers via email why we hadn’t used the voucher before our daughter’s death was not only deeply hurtful, but frankly, appalling. After my reply, I never heard back. I am absolutely stunned by how cold and dismissive the responses were. I truly thought I might be overreacting until everyone I’ve shared this experience with expressed the same disbelief and disgust. As a gesture of goodwill, we were offered a one night midweek stay to be used within two months. But given the way we were treated, I cannot bring myself to stay at a place that showed so little empathy or basic human decency. As locals, we will never stay here. I will also be advising anyone considering purchasing a voucher to think very carefully. Because apparently, losing your child isn’t considered a valid reason for flexibility or to be an exception to the standard policy. Throughout our grief, we’ve been supported by many kind and compassionate people. Sadly, this business was not one of them. Their handling of our situation has left my husband and me feeling sick to our stomachs.
