Quarters Hotel

Staying in the Quarters is a truly fabulous experience. Each staff member at this comfortable and stately hotel was courteous, friendly and helpful, responding promptly to requests for assistance. I was particularly touched by the breakfast service from Nana and Boniswa. The food is of an excellent quality, beautifully prepared in the kitchen. Plus, the coffee was perfectly brewed. A healthy range of options on the menu makes travelling for business a whole lot more pleasurable. They made up a lovely breakfast take-away to have on the way to the airport as we had to leave early to catch a flight. That just made my day! Thanks to receptionist, Gillian, and Sarhana for assistance with admin requests. Also, delightful to have Nomphu organise a plumber within the hour in response to a problem with a tap in the shower. Security here is terrific, and having access to beautiful outside balconies an added delight. Great wifi is the cherry on the top!

These guys were so good to me when I first booked there months before my wedding. I explained that I needed to get ready here and that my stylists and photographers would be coming through. When I walked into that room tired that night to get ready for my wedding a couple hours later. I had petals in a shape of a heart and such a great welcome. They were kind enough to extend my checkout if need be and I had the entire lounge area to myself to get ready. No fuss at all. It's a beautiful place to do wedding photography. The light is great and if you enjoy a vintage setting then this place is definitely for you. Thanks guys for all your help that day. Much appreciated!

My brother and I spent a lovely five days at quarters Hotel. It is in a historic property with a fabulous location on the Florida Road in Durban. Florida Road has 20 or 30 restaurants many of them excellent and is also close to other great restaurants such as joops place and malis. There is a system of private security which allows want to walk up and down Florida Road perfectly safely at night popping into the various bars and restaurants. Is a terrific way to see Durban and there’s also only three minutes away from the beaches which were open and without any issues. I would very much recommend staying at quarters and will return.
