We had a lovely weekend at Rose Cottage, the cottage is exceptional and the area very beautiful, proximity to the Crown and Anchor with its wonderful views is easy. If arriving after dark as I did, my only tip would be to ensure you are accessing by the electric bar gate, if you’re not, you’re on the very pot holed road which will get you there but at risk of damage to your vehicle.
4 of us tried our luck to get 2 rooms passing early evening on bikes. The owner came outside and was a little offish. Looked lively and empty but no rooms available. Stunning gardens and location. Will def try and book again online but maybe not rock up in our cycling gear.
Quay Quarters is set in the most amazing location. You are minutes from the beach and have loads of lovely walks. The farm itself is very beautifully kept and you can even visit the horses. The self contained cottage was very clean with all the amenities you could need. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The only downside would be that the decor/finish is a little bit dated and worn however if (like us) you had a dog or perhaps small children it wouldn't matter so much and could even be considered a positive! Overall a great experience and will definitely be back
