Quays Hotel

Booked here last minute. Owners on site were very welcoming. Very clean, comfortable room with a sofa which was welcomed. Nothing worse than having to sit on the bed to watch tv. Modern, renovated bathroom. Large walk in shower. Great amenities. Separate toilet. The spare pillows in garment bags to keep fresh. We knew when we walked in that the people managing this property really care about our experience. Highly recommend. We requested a downstairs room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Quays with my daughter. Unfortunately, the weather has not been cooperative. However, our accommodations were so beautifully appointed that it didn't dampen our spirits. The room was impeccably clean and crisp, with a spotless bathroom. The location was ideal, and I particularly appreciated the convenience of the coffee pod machine, which allowed me to brew myself a cup of coffee. It was a lovely touch.

This is a basic motel that has been renovated in recent times. The room was clean and tidy but being in a ground floor room we had noise from water drips through the plumbing from the floor above, very annoying. Luckily it didn't last all night. The bathroom had no basin, instead it was in the main room, located high and hard to access making it very impractical. There was a small tiled threshold that you kept stubbing your toe on. The service was slow and impersonal. Our stay also had to endure noisy drunk guests outside our room. Overall, it was disappointing, we didn't consider it good value given prices for the same room dropped shortly after our visit and we would consider other options in future.
