Qubus Hotel Gdańsk

First things first: great location.The breakfast was amazing!!!! In general the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable which is the most important thing. Typical east European 4 star hotel whose facilities and complimentary items do not correspond to that status. I would expect shampoo, conditioner and body wash of better quality and that's because we were on holiday and didn't bring our own as we usually do. Complimentary coffee and tea in the room were great though. To be fair I would stay here again!

A great, fresh hotel located just next to the city center. About a 5 min walk and you're in the middle of old town. They have a lovely breakfast with all that you need. Both beds and pillows is firm and nice as I like them. The rooms are fresh and kind of newly refurbished I believe, even tho the decorations might not be the one I've choose. Lovely service and personnel. The down side was the poor AC that made the room a bit hot and not the greatest view.

We were overall satisfied from 2 nights we spent here. The room was an adequate size and clean. Pretty typical Eastern European 4 stars. Window facing the river, but not very large so you can only enjoy the view if you stand right next to it. I was a bit let down by the bed as it was too soft (uncomfortable) and the hotel doesn't have any real double beds, they can only connect two singles. Room was quiet at night provided you close the window entirely and rely on air-conditioning, otherwise you hear the highway. Breakfast was great - great selection, quality and taste and the waffle machine was awesome! Only downside is it was crowded and we had to wait for a table to become available. Overall the service was nice except for one receptionist that made me feel very uncomfortable and sorry for asking some questions about parking options around the hotel. The location is great, you're on the river and within a walking distance from the beautiful old town and lots of good places to eat.
