Absolutely amazing! The staff was first rate, everyone went out of their way to help us out. They made excellent suggestions of places to eat and things to do and they were so nice and kind. The views were spectacular and the vibe was very relaxed. It’s so nice to have a park right next door. The room was quiet, I never worried about outside noise. The room was incredibly clean. The deck had great views and the drinks were excellent, and again exceeding nice people working there! The coffee shop downstairs, I highly recommend it for its friendly demeanor and great coffee. I would love to stay here again!
I had an amazing stay at the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel in Honolulu! The location is perfect, just a short walk to Waikiki Beach, which made our family vacation even more enjoyable. I loved how the hotel provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, making it so convenient to spend the day on the sand. The valet parking service was excellent—quick, hassle-free, and attentive. Every employee we interacted with went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and their friendly service truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honolulu for a relaxing and enjoyable beach!
We booked through Costco. The whole experience was not what we expected ( not sure if its because we booked through Costco). 1. Our reservation included free valet parking, but of the 4 days we stayed there, not even a single day we got parking as it was always full. We had to park across near the Honolulu zoo public parking. The hotel did refund the parking tickets, which was nice. But I would prefer the hotel to stop marketing free valet parking in the booking if they don't have enough space for it. 2. The rooms (city view studio) were much smaller than what we had imagined. It was on the M floor ( between 2 and 3). So there was 0% city view. More like we were straight opposite other condos. Hardly could open the blinds anytime. 3. The rooms are recently renovated but still the age shows. Felt like a temporary room created by converting the floor. No wardrobe sliding door, some basic Ikea cabinets, no exhaust fan in the washroom? Window AC? Low ceiling height. 4. The lobby is really great. Good coffee shop too 5. Housekeeping was pretty good too. 6. The corridor really stinks. Not sure if this is an M floor only issue 7. Location wise, it's pretty good. You are at the end of the strip, but still there are good restaurants a few minutes walk away.
