Queen s Gardens Resort & Spa

Beautiful hotel! Sandra and Thierry are wonderful hosts. All of the meals we had here were excellent and the views are beautiful. The hotel is a 5 min drive from town (15 min walk) and is a little more secluded, but with access to hiking trails right at the entrance. To address a previous review which complained about lack of AC and the need to throw toilet paper in the trash - our bedroom had AC (the rest of the suite did not but it never felt too hot), and the island largely relies on septic systems which cannot handle toilet paper.

Magical Stay!!!!!!!! We stayed at the Queen's Gardens Resort for a night while visiting St. Maarten. We took the opportunity to fly into the world's shortest runway which was just amazing. The owner of Queen's Resort Carlos couldn't have been more accommodating by arranging our pickup early in the morning to hosting a refreshing breakfast while we waited for our room to be ready. The view from anywhere is breathtaking on this beautiful island, however, our room just gave us an even better experience. Everything from the sounds of the birds to the absolute beauty of this five-square-mile island. The rooms are extremely large, the bed was extremely comfortable. We had dinner in a beautiful perch that sits high in the trees. The restaurant and its Chef were top-notch. We cannot do it justice by even trying to describe the experience of our stay at Queen's Garden. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you are thinking about visiting the island. Carlos and the staff made our stay personable and a pleasure! Thank you Carlos for hosting us.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay here for 6 nights. Our hosts, Sandra and Thierry were very gracious, welcoming and helpful. They called cabs for us, recommended restaurants, and they attended to any concerns we had. All in all they were very friendly. Our huge suit overlooked the pool and the spectacular view of the mountain peaks and the ocean.Our first night’s meal was delicious, fresh fish, tuna tartare, a lovely salad and dessert. The daily breakfast offers a variety of choices, eggs any style, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, fruit and a variety of coffees.The view from the restaurant is also great. The other nights we sought out more of the great restaurants in Saba. The Queen’s resort sits on a large property with a European charm built with local stones, wood shutters, fabulous greenery everywhere with easy access to hiking trails. Staying in Saba at the Queen’s resort is a special experience worth the lane ride to get there.
