Hotel got small rooms due to old architecture, but clean and acceptable. Rooms facing street can be noisy at night. Breakfast very poor and very unfriendly service. Staff seems not to be happy. Quality of diner average.
What a huge shame that we had the generator for the town outside our room!!! Despite paying for an upgraded It kicked in on our second evening. Then all the power went off, then the generator broke down!!! We nearly roasted to death, so opened the windows and got attacked by mosquitos!!! The breakfast was okay. The water was not hot enough to make tea.... There was some cereal and an egg chef, but not much else. The staff were amazing though. They could not do enough to help.
Staff were relatively friendly however this hotel is portrayed wrongly on the website and booking websites. The rooms need a serious revamp however the shower is nice. The bed was like sleeping on a brick wall and at breakfast they had sour milk for the cereal, a really simple thing that I have honestly not seen happen before at hotels. I will not be back and would not recommend, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel maybe a 2 star at most.
