Great pub. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon so it was understandably quiet. There was a great warm welcome from the young lad behind the bar. Didn’t sample any food as the kitchen had just closed. Will definitely return soon.
Lovely pub with a couple of nice vegan options, great service, the staff were very kind and even put on extra heat lamps for us. Will definitely be back. Worth noting food is only served at lunch and dinner time with a break in the afternoon.
We popped in to the Queens Arms as we was passing through. AVOID!!! Me and the wife opted for the Roast Lamb. This was by far THE worst lamb i have ever seen on a plate served to a paying customer. The both of us really struggled to find any edible meat amongst the sheer amount of fat on the plate. Needless to say all we ate was a couple of potatoes and some veg. We complained and didn't even receive any apologies or offer of replacing the dishes. As we had basically had no food we popped into The Plough, just up the road for "round 2" and was not disappointed, MUCH better service and food that is actually edible. In the Queens Arms we paid £27.50 per meal!! Honestly, avoid like the plague .... we wasted £55 on 2 plates of fat!
