Spent 3 night here as a landing point to relax. Staff were all great from reception, bellhops, pool guy, and front door security. My room was clean and bed was comfortable. 2 complimentary bottles of water and a fully stocked fridge and snack area for convenience. Reception staff are really great at calling your room when your friends leave make sure no issues. Lots of bars, restaurants, and shops within 5 min walk as well as a 7/11. Pool area was nice, can order drinks to the bar overlooking the pool. The steak house in the restaurant apparently was good, tho I didn't try. Gym on the 5th floor was decent as well.
Steak house is top notch. I have had the ribeye and the fajita. Both were excellent quality. No steak sauce needed!
I stayed at this hotel late last year in November for 20 nights after researching and looking at many hotels online. The Queens hotel seemed the best and most suitable for my price range and needs. The good: The location, staff and service were very good. All staff were very friendly. Anything I needed, they were able to help, including give me change when I needed The doormen were very nice and very helpful, always smiling and going out of their way to provide service and security. Any time maintenance was needed for anything, it was immediate and 24 hour on call for anything. My room was balcony executive, which is the best and most expensive room on offer. Large, spacious room with a very comfortable king size bed and a very large sunny balcony, including a large adjustable sun lounge chair and outdoor chairs and table overlooking a fantastic pool. I really liked that. Great! Not so good: 1- I paid for my room before arrival and was perplexed as to why I was paying the same overnight price, 20 nights in a row without a discount. I was disappointed to find out that had I paid in cash for 16 nights upon arrival, a discount of 25% would’ve applied, which is huge! . this should have been communicated to me before my arrival as I was staying for 20 nights! Consider also, the hotel had a deal for one month for 90,000 pesos for the same room! I paid 112,000 pesos for 20 nights for the same room! It’s understandable why I’m not happy about not being offered any discounts beforehand or informed about any of this prior to my arrival. 2- Not sure what newly renovated hotel means as my room was quite outdated with a permanent stain in the bath tub and loose tiles on the side of the bathtub. I had to call maintenance on two occasions to get the hot water going in the bath. On the second call, maintenance took out the The loose tiles, fixed the problem but left dirt all over the floor, then put the loose tiles back in place, now looking more loose. 3- The four pillows provided we’re all flat. Not what you would expect in the best room in a four star hotel. Also, the outside furniture was old and had a few holes here in there but that-was not a big issue to me as the spacious balcony was great. 4- The noise generated outside the hotel between 4 am and 6 am on some nights was very disturbing and a major issue as it ruined my sleep! For some reason, the karaoke bar across the road would get very loud around 3-4 am, settled down at six or 6:30 am, then the builders on the site next door would start with the angle grinders and hammers, ruining my sleep. That was a big issue for me as it left me exhausted! Suggestions- renovate and soundproof all balcony rooms, especially the balcony executive rooms, which are the largest and most expensive, and change the pillows to bigger, fluffy pillows. * Inform all guests about specials and discounts, before arrival. Would I stay again? If the sound proofing and renovations went ahead for the outdated balcony executive rooms, absolutely!
