Quest Ballarat Station

Beautiful and tidy rooms! We chose Quest Ballarat Station and enjoyed our stay and felt well rested in the morning. The bed and pillows were to our liking and the bed room and the lounge was clean and spacious. Looking forward to returning again. Will be recommending to our other friends and families. The only let down and disappointment was that we went with our friends as couples and they didn’t put us next to each other or even on the same level even though we booked together in one booking. Underground/cover parking was an additional $15 or so and the parking spaces are quite tight! All in all the hotel and rooms were well equipped and maintained.

Stayed at this quest hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was great and the view from the our balcony was lovely. The only downside was a strong smell in the room when we first entered, most likely due to a plumbing issue and the smell remained through out our stay but everything else was comfortable and well-maintained. The location was really good as it was next to the train station and the main street with all the restaurants and shops. We walked to the restaurants with our baby as it was so close.

I found it disappointing after booking a room for 1 night. Staff seemed like it was an effort. Room was clean but for the price I would expect at least bottled water in the fridge. There was nothing. Car park was charged on top of room. There was enough coffee for 2 cups. Fridge was empty. No biscuits to have with coffee. 1 small long life milk. No face washers in bathroom. If you required bottled water or a snack you had to go down to car park level and use vending machine. 1 only. And a line up to use it. I have stayed in many hotels including quest over the years and have never been so discouraged by the lack of effort from this motel. It is like it was a very low budget motel at an expensive price . Soul never stay there again. Much better alternatives at better rates in Ballarat.
