Quest Bendigo

Fantastic regional hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool and BBQ were a perfect for our club families returning after a hot day out at a sports carnival. So Kids had a ball. Rooms were spacious and clean with good kitchens for cooking our own meals. Air conditioning plus TVs with free movie services and casting was ace for the kids to relax from the heat. Will certainly stay here again and perfect for sports clubs etc.

This is a review of room 12, which I believe is a disappointing representation of the Quest brand. The ensuite bathroom needs a renovation, especially the stained shower base. There was a very annoying knocking noise in the plumbing that made a knock every 10-20 seconds, all day/night!! It could be heard in the main bedroom and lounge area. The drapes in the lounge area were being held up with bulldog clips, which meant they could not be closed. This means everyone walking past can see into the apartment. The mattresses in the main and second bedrooms are in need of replacing, nothing worse than rolling into the middle all night! At over $300 per night, I think we could have stayed somewhere much nicer. We had other family members staying in other rooms that enjoyed their stay, so I think it was just our room that needs some long overdue attention.

Ordinary to say the least, here in Bendigo with my elderly mother unwell in hospital, when I was on the phone I mentioned that we needed to be close to the hospital, they put us in the quest right out of town, instead of the one close to the hospital Quest Central. Take food there is absolutely nothing out here. Room smelt of mould due to mould all around the screens on the window, shower screen was broken, you need to hold it while you have a shower, bed bugs in one of the beds even though the staff here were very rude and told me there was none. Do not recommend.
