Good location. Staff are good but nothing above average. But for what they charge. You’d expect unlimited wifi, broken things to be fixed before you check in, things to be clean. It’s tired and not cared for. Won’t be back despite good location

Be sure to read the fine print before paying them anything up front. We booked a room for one of our staff who had to attend a course in Ponsonby for 4 days and paid upwardly of $880. The course was cancelled and we had to stand down the booking. Quest chose to keep the money due to the fine print that said advanced payments are not refundable. Their loss. I've used them for staff in various roles for many years but will never book and stay with any Quest facility ever again. Absolute theft. Never had this experience with any other accommodation provider before.

As per lots of other reviews check in after 7pm is less than ideal - No one answered the portacom but luckily I was let in by a Colleague also staying to get my key. I was given a ground floor room directly off the main courtyard area. As soon as I opened the door it was dark, cold and damp feeling. Room was very basic. Noticed the saftey chain was broken straight away and had a bad feeling about the place. The first review I then read online was about a ground floor room getting broken into overnight. I just walked out and booked another hotel room, no point feeling unsafe and not being able to sleep.
