Quest Wollongong

I stayed in the Quest hotel for two nights. Firstly I would like to give Amanda the receptionist a big 10 out of 10 for her welcoming demeanour, helpfulness and assistance when we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment we stayed in was immaculate and the housekeeping staff were equally friendly and respectful.

We were in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor for a 2 night getaway with our besties. Each bedroom had an ensuite and all facilities were clean and well presented. We asked for a coffee plunger which appeared in no time with a lovely message. All the staff were amazing, nothing was too hard, but special mention to Amanda who went over and above. Location is perfect, great restaurants, Wollongong Harbour, shopping and the free loop bus. Highly recommended 😀

I should have rated 5 stars. Unfortunately, when we entered our room, it was cleaned except for the toilet. We learned from Maria (the housekeeper) that it was a miscommunication. The toilet was fixed 2 days ago, but it was missed communicating that it was already done fixing. It should be checked before giving the room key cards to the customer. I would give credit and kudos to Maria in providing explanations, helping the customer understand the situations. Parking is a separate payment per day charge. I would recommend adding it to the room bills because it's sometimes hard to find available street parking upon check-in. Their hotel parking is at the back street on the right up the ramp. You need a room access key card to swipe and open the shutter gate. There is no room service, but there are plenty of food shops along the next street. Be careful going up the ramp because it's steep. Overall, we will be coming back because it's a very convenient location for the city proper and beach walks.
