Quiet Desert Oasis Off Swan Rd

Huge thank you to Giovanna and the Tanque Verde Ranch Team! We had our wedding at the Barn in June and were so happy with the entire experience. Giovanna and her team were so professional and excellent! The a majority of our guests were from out of town and loved all of the amenities, rooms, and scenery. We cannot thank you all enough for making this day so amazing! PS: We loved Michael!!

We were a group of 12 girls in our 20s for a bachelorette party and had an AMAZING time at Tanque Verde! I wish we could've stayed longer to do more. Genuinely every part of the weekend was so fun from horseback riding, BB shooting, relaxing at the pool, or eating the incredible food. We're from big cities all around the US and have decent food expectations and were blown away. We had the 3 squares and a bed package so we could choose from the buffet or the regular ala carte menu for no additional cost - only drinks were extra. The mango spicy marg was a hit! Every ranch employee was so kind and personable - we could tell they weren't just putting on a 'customer service' front. Our accommodations were awesome - the ranch should honestly update the photos on the website or add a video tour because we didn't really know what to expect there but the 3 connecting rooms (1st room: king with 2 queen murphy, 2nd room: 2 queens, 3rd room: king with 2 queen murphy) with 3 full bathrooms and clawfoot tubs were so spacious and way exceeded our expectations. Ceiling fans and full sized steamers in each closet. Plenty of couch seating and multiple tables. An insane view with a patio. Some shoutouts - Our wranglers Bernie and Bill, Marcia (the most iconic and knowledgeable queen) and Carrie at the Nature Center, Wayne our shuttle driver, Desiree at the saloon, Nubs the ranch cat, Blair and Bella our servers (so sweet!), Grant the cowboy cookout singer/guitarist, Jacob who does basically everything, and randomly Darrell the tennis instructor who sang to me in an angelic voice?? None of us saw that coming.

Tanque verde ranch was beautiful, but its nit the place to go in the summer. It was hot, the rooms only had a tiny ac unit which made it hard to cool down. Most if the activities you do would have to be in the am and still then it would be too hot. If you want to have a wedding do it late at night or it would be too hot. The sunsets were so gorgeous though. This would be the perfect place for fall/winter.
