Great place to stay in St.Eustatius. The island is basically undeveloped: roads barely exist and there is only diving and hiking. The hotel is like an oasis in the desert. Very well run by owners Joyce and Herman. Nice rooms, all with views of ocean. Terrace is wonderful and they serve excellent home made breakfast and dinner. Dinner is different every day and they are known for their great Indonesian rice tafel. A great place to stay in an otherwise, not very attractive island.
We had an amazing Indonesian cuisine dinner at Quill Gardens while staying elsewhere on the island. The food and service were fantastic, as were the views. If the hotel is half as good as their restaurant, it must be amazing!
Five stars service and food all the way. Joyce and Herman are fantastic hosts, they go above and beyond to help and meet your needs. Breakfast and dinners were delicious and varied. Thank you for a great stay.
