Im here with my 2 year old. Its a very clean hotel, close to the town. Im walking there with a stroller. Around the corner there is a terrace with a view of the ocean for a coffee. Breakfast is perfect, there is nothing im missing. The service is great in the hotel as well. Parking is free and everything is around max 1 hour driving from here. Dinner is a 4 course menu daily. I dont know this before we arrived but is was fine. The food is good! Nothing to complain here!
Lovely hotel within short walk of Funchal's Old Town, great for dining spots. Only a 10 min walk to cable car. Lovely amenities on site, pool & patio etc....staff there extremely friendly.....garage for car parking on site. They were good enough to let me leave my car there for a few hrs after checking out.
Reality is very different than the nice photos and the beautiful facade. Not all rooms have air conditioning. The streets have loud music. So it is between heat or noise in the room. When my wife was showering a spider crawled her arm. When I showered, no hot water. Check my photos. This is not a 4-star in any standard.
